In association with and proceeds to benefit “The Make The World A Better Place Foundation”, charity organization who works closely with Social Services and special needs children and their families. The event is a pop culture convention that welcomes all genres and celebrates all forms of current and past pop culture which includes novelizations, comics, collectables, homemade crafts and Special guest appearances by personalities that are a part of past and present pop-culture, sci-fi, horror, anime and fantasy genre as well as music/television/motion picture industry professionals who wish to exhibit and/or share their knowledge of their craft. It is our goal to make this a community event year after year. Our first year (2014) we had just over 1000 attendee’s and expect between 1500 and 3000 attendees the coming year. We are looking for local businesses, organizations and volunteers who will be a great fit in supporting and promoting the Tulare Sci-Fi Con. We will be advertising in Tulare, Kings, Kern and Fresno counties. With your help, we can host the Central Valley’s largest and best convention and keep it growing for years to come. Most item donations will be given away during our Raffle (every 30 minutes) during the convention, unless it’s donated for a specific purpose, such as:   A. B. C. Costume Contest Prize Film Festival Prize Car Show Prize 2) All cash donations will go towards the item(s) chosen by the donor. They can be for:   A. B. C. D. E. Costume Contest - Plaques / Trophies Costume Hall Awards – Plaques / Ribbons Film Festival - Plaques / Trophies Car Show - Plaques / Trophies Specified CASH awards for any of the above if specified . All sponsorship and donators will have their name/company (specified by you) included in our Event Program. If they choose to, they can also be a presenter of their donation(s) if going to a specific event (ie.. costume contest, film festival and/or car show).
